The 27th October will be the opening date for the long awaited Studio City casino resort announced Lawrence Ho the Chief Executive of the Macau based casino firm. It is also hoped that Melco are given the permission to have 400 gaming tables in the new resort. Mr. Ho think that,“Unlike some of our competitors – who had ridiculous requests for gaming tables, like 1,000, 700 or 500 – we have always been consistent in the last four years in asking for 400 gaming tables. But we are in the government’s hands.”
Studio City is hoping to find out the government’s decision in the next month, much publicity has been made of Studio City with a movie trailer and opening short film with legendary actors Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt all feature under the direction of famed Director Martin Scorsese. It is rumoured that the film has cost $70 million to get all the actors together along with Scorsese to make the trailers and short movie. Există zvonuri cum că ar fi costat 70 de milioane de dolari, pentru ca toţi acesti actori și regizorul Scorsese să facă aceste două filme. Brad Pitt este programat să apară în filmul final, dar povestea se învârte în jurul actorilor care concurează pentru același rol într-un film de Scorsese și care vor zbura la Macao pentru o audiție cu renumitul regizor.
