Barcelona won the Champions League final last season, following a thrilling match played against Juventus, ended with a score of 3-1. Therefore, the Catalan group has earned the status of favorite this edition.

After the first match of the knockout phase, the team coached by Luis Enrique has strengthened its position of favorite, thanks to a 2-0 away victory in the match against Arsenal. Messi was the winning factor, scoring both goals of the game. The Catalans will address the home match more quietly. „I think Barcelona is the best team in Europe, but we felt we could beat them – this is my great regret. Barcelona is 95% qualified” admitted Arsene Wenger, the coach of the gunners.

Finalist with no chances
