Live betting is placed during the development of the event. More and more sports betting (and others also) can be watched on television or on different internet networks. Coming back to live betting, we must say the denomination is improper, but the term has easily consecrated and has been accepted by the majority. Many betting agencies use the term “in running bets” or “in play betting”. Both are close to the connotation of the term, meaning betting that develop at that particular moment and accept stakes from the players.
That kind of betting appeared recently on the market, developing really well over the last years. We can find them in few betting agencies. Generally, in live betting a forecast is chosen for the event. Even if the term “live” can be translated as “instant”, as I said before, practically no betting house offers a real live betting. This would mean for you to be on the stadium and bet, but it wouldn’t be live either, it wouldn’t be instant. That because when you ask your bet to be validated, from the moment of the betting until the validation, there is a so called “latency timing”, around 4 and 10 seconds. If during this timing there is nothing else going on, the odds in the game remain unchanged, the betting stake will be accepted. Some betting houses accept the betting stake even if the quota changes, and the last offered quota will be validated (it can be adjusted, different from the one you have chosen.)
During the different sports events there is certain timing when the odd is blocked by the agency and there is no possibility to bet (for example tennis, basket, football). Generally, on sports events where there are many kicks the odd blocking happens a lot, but the staff in charge with this kind of events try to do it in a short while. For example, betting can be blocked when: there is scoring, penalty or a player is excluded. Even so, the timing for odds reevaluation is short.
On live betting the player has the advantage to see the game on tv (or from the tribune, for those betting from their mobile phone). Yet this advantage can never reach the level of the betting houses that despite the fact they have the information on real time, adapt much easier than a regular parlor. More, specialized traders that value and receive direct smooth information, the stakes also, modify the quotas in advantage for the betting houses. But they can also make mistakes, the human factor can always be wrong, and the mistakes are speculated by the bettors (for example to allow betting on a short while after the game is over).
I have reached certain conclusions which are good for you to follow and respect according to your playing style. When you are involved in live betting, try to anticipate the evolution of the game you are watching. If you don’t watch a game, don’t bet on it. Even when you are watching a game, be aware of the fact that there is a short disparity and there are differences between the evolution of the game and odds. Be sure you are certain on what you want to bet on and that you can make correct and fast decisions. Before placing a bet it is appropriate to focus on a stakes and respect it. Not the last, you must know the betting can be removed of the offer at any time, depending on the decision of the betting agency. Pariurile live sunt acele pariuri efectuate, puse în perioada de desfăşurare efectivă a evenimentului. Tot mai multe evenimente sportive (dar şi de altă natură) pot fi urmărite la televizor ori pe diverse canale transmise pe internet. Practic, foarte multe agenţii de pariuri au instalate monitoare tv unde poţi urmări de la meciuri de fotbal sau tenis până la curse de cai sau de ogari. Dacă însă, te afli acasă în faţa calculatorului, poţi găsi foarte uşor diverse canale specializate care transmit, în direct, majoritatea meciurilor care se desfăşoară în diferite zone ale globului. În plus, foarte multe agenţii de pariuri online (bookmarkers) au propriile canale video unde poţi urmări meciul în timp ce pariezi.
Revenind la pariurile live, trebuie să spunem că denumirea este puţin improprie, însă termenul s-a consacrat rapid şi a fost acceptat de majoritatea pariorilor. La multe case de pariuri le vom regăsi şi sub denumirea de `in-running bets` sau `in-play betting`. Ambele sunt mai apropiate de conotaţia termenului, însemnănd pariuri care se desfăşoară în acel moment şi care acceptă mize din partea jucătorilor.
Aceste tipuri de pariuri au apărut pe piaţă recent, aflandu-se în dezvoltare în ultimii ani şi le putem regăsi la un număr mai redus de agenţii. În general la pariurile live se alege un pronostic, un eveniment pe care se pariază. Deşi termenul de ‘live’ se poate traduce cu ‘pe viu’, cum am mai spus mai sus, în mod practic, nici o casă de pariuri nu oferă pariuri ‘live’ în adevăratul sens al cuvântului. Ar însemna să fiţi pe stadion şi să puneţi pariuri, dar nici măcar atunci nu ar fi `live`, instant. Asta pentru că din momentul în care solicitaţi să vi se valideze pariul pariul pus şi până în momentul în care acesta este acceptat de agenţia de pariuri trece un aşa anumit ‘timp de latenţă’ în general cuprins între 4 şi 10 secunde. Dacă în acest interval de timp nu se întâmplă nimic important în desfăşurarea meciului, nu scade sau nu creşte cota, pariul şi miza vor fi acceptate. Unele case dau posibilitatea de acceptare a pariului şi a mizei, si în cazul în care se schimbă cota, validându-se la ultima cotă oferită (care poate fi ajustată, diferită faţă de cea aleasă de dumnevoastră).
Pe parcursul desfăşurării diferitelor tipuri de evenimente sportive există anumite perioade în care oferta de cote este blocată de către agenţie şi nu se pot pune pariuri (ex. tenis, baschet, fotbal etc.). În general, la evenimentele sportive în care se marchează un număr mare de puncte (goluri) aceste blocări de cote sunt frecvente, dar personalul care se ocupă de evenimentele live încearcă să facă acest timp cât mai redus. Spre exemplu, la fotbal, pariurile pot fi blocate atunci când: se înscrie un gol, se acordă un penalty, un jucător este eliminat. Chiar şi atunci, timpul de aşteptare, în care cotele sunt reevaluate, este destul de mic.
În cazul pariurilor live, jucătorul are avantajul că poate vedea desfăşurarea meciului la televizor (sau din tribună pentru cei care pariază folosind telefonul mobil). Totuşi acest avantaj nu se poate ridica niciodată la nivelul caselor de pariuri, care pe lângă faptul că primesc infomaţia în timp aproape real despre desfăşurarea meciului, se adaptează mult mai repede dacât un parior obişnuit. În plus, au oameni specializaţi (traderi) care dirijează şi valorifică toate informaţiile primite, printre care şi mizele, şi modifică cotele cât mai avantajos pentru agenţii. Dar, şi aceştia sunt oameni şi pot greşi, factorul uman poate face erori care, de cele mai multe ori sunt speculate de către pariori (de ex. să permită pariuri, la scurt timp, după terminarea meciului).
Din experienţa acumulată am ajuns la unele concluzii pe care vă sfatuiesc să le adaptaţi şi respectaţi în funcţie de stilul dumneavoatră de joc. Astfel, când pariaţi live încercaţi să anticipaţi evoluţia meciului pe care îl vizionaţi. Dacă nu urmăriţi un meci nu este indicat să pariaţi pe el. Chiar şi atunci cînd urmăriţi un meci, fiţi conştienţi că există un mic decalaj datorat transmisiei şi există diferenţe între evoluţia meciului şi a cotelor. Fiţi sigur că aţi înţeles ceea ce vreţi să pariati şi că puteţi lua decizii rapide şi corecte. Înainte să pariaţi este bine să vă stabiliţi o miză şi să o respectaţi. Şi, nu în ultimul rând, trebuie să ştiţi că pariurile respective pot fi scoase oricând din ofertă, asta depinzând de decizia agenţiei de pariuri. Nu uitaţi: cotele live sunt mai mici decât cele normale, dar în timpul meciului găsiţi evenimente pe care nu le găsiţi înainte de începerea lui.
