Kate Chambers, Show Director responsible for ICE Totally Gaming, said:”This goes beyond just exhibition statistics. In real business terms it means that whatever’s taking place in the entire world of gaming will be demonstrated by exhibitors at ICE, which of course is great news for our many thounsands of visitors who themselves travel from in excess of 100 countries to be in London. The very clear message is,’come to ICE and see the world of gaming’ – which combined with the breadth of gaming sectors on show represents an intoxicating business proposition and one not to be missed”.

72 per cent of exhibitors are based outside UK, giving the show its most international make-up to date. Outside Great Britain (114 exhibitors), the top ten represented jurisdictions are: Malta (29), USA (25), Italy (23), Austria and Taiwan (both 17), Germany (14), Spain (13), Netherlands (12) followed by the Isle of Man and Sweden (both 10).

The third annual International Casino Conference, organized in partnership with the European Casino Association, was held on 24 th January, the eve of the exhibition.

Kate Chambers, ICE show director said:”We’ve got the biggest names in gaming, the best innovators in gaming, and the smartest names in gaming. We know that there will be thousands and thousands of new products launched – that’s why exhibitors invest in attending the show after all. We’ve also got seven unmissable conferences dealing with crucial issues such as how gaming show in the world can come anywhere near the geographical spread of exhibitors present at ICE or the diversity of the gaming experience that’s on offer quite simply all the evidence demonstrates there is no other place in the world that gaming operators can or indeed should be this week. The show’s reputation for being at the cockpit of gaming innovation is borne out by the roll call of marquee exhibitors. Added to this there are 79 companies making their debut appearances at ICE, providing a perfect balance of seasoned and new exhibitors.”

Show organizers have confirmed that upwards of 100 gaming regulators and government officials will be attending ICE 2011. The 2011 edition will welcome officials form jurisdictions stretching from Sweden to Swaziland, Belgium to Bulgaria, Gibraltar to Ghana and Singapore to Slovenia. The opportunity to see the caliber of companies that are involved delivers a potentially huge benefit to the global gaming industry particularly as more jurisdictions look to a liberalization of gaming as one method of helping to fund budget deficits.
