Keep in mind that there are three types of windsurfing boards: wave, freestyle, and speed.

Crafted using CNC technology and the most advanced lamination techniques, and entirely handcrafted, these boards are identical to high-quality custom boards, offering an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio. It takes approximately 18 weeks to produce them.
They have their own exclusive 3D CAD software based on mathematical data. This allows them to verify the results using artificial intelligence to ensure maximum precision. In addition to being much more precise and faster, complex 3D design tasks—such as the revolutionary Synced Curves Concept—would otherwise have been simply impossible to achieve.
Mast and Hydrofoil Wings, 2,000–3,000 euros
The foiling system (front wing, fuselage, rear wing, and vertical mast that lifts the board above the water), made entirely of premium carbon fiber, is one of the biggest expenses.
The underwater wing system consists of a vertical mast and a horizontal wing located beneath the board. When the board picks up speed, the wing generates lift, raising the board above the water. This results in much lower drag, allowing you to ride faster and smoother, even in light wind conditions.
The advantages of windfoiling are that you can ride in light winds. You don’t need much wind to get moving. It also offers a smooth and fast ride because the board is lifted above the water, allowing you to glide with almost no friction. Plus, it provides a unique experience—a floating sensation, as if you were flying over the water.
Sails, 1,100–1,600 euros
Competition sails, specially designed for foiling or slalom (such as those from North Sails or Loftsails Skyblade), use ultra-stable materials that do not deform in strong gusts. On Telstarsurf, we found a sail that falls at the very top of the price range: 1,529 euros.

In total, a full set of equipment—excluding the protective gear you buy to safeguard your body—costs around 9,000 euros. It’s not exactly a cheap sport, but it offers incredible experiences.
