Since the launch of online sports betting in New York State, 1.2 million bettors have made accounts

More than a million accounts have been created in New York, just one week after the launch of online bookmakers. From its launch on January 8, 2022, to January 17, 1.2 million active accounts have been created in the state’s five online sports bookmakers, with 878,000 unique players.
