We are veterans in supporting sports performance and our participation as an official sponsor for the Romanian Sports Gala Awards was a great opportunity for us to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our athletes and also a confirmation of our strong desire to contribute to positive change.
Gala Sportului Românesc 2024
The event took place on the 14th of February at the Romanian Athenaeum, a setting with a symbolic and historical charge that amplified the importance and solemnity of the Romanian Sports Gala and brought together both prominent figures of Romanian sport from the past and current personalities of the sports community. Former and current glories, from Olympic, world and European champions to referees, coaches and representatives of sports federations and complexes were among the participants. The event was attended by sports elites from all over the country, high state officials, representatives of local authorities, diplomatic missions, partners and collaborators of the National Agency for Sport.
The atmosphere was wonderful, appreciated by all participants and perfect for celebrating achievements. As sponsors, we were happy to be part of an event that brought together the sports community and provided an opportunity for well-deserved recognition for exceptional achievements in Romanian sport.
The Gala was a true celebration of excellence, where awards were presented in 18 distinct categories covering the full spectrum of the sports industry. These included awards for male and female athletes of the year, coaches, Paralympic sports, notable sporting events, men’s and women’s teams for various sports, and the best organization of an international competition in Romania. Special prizes were also awarded, including the special prize of the National Agency for Sport/Legend of Sport or the Romanian Sports Hopes. Special attention was also paid to the presidents of federations and administrators in sport.
Hard work, dedication and perseverance were rewarded not only with personal success, but also with our support and trust as sponsors. At this event, 3 awards for excellence, 2 special awards for Paralympians and 13 extraordinary awards for outstanding performance in 2023 were presented.
A special moment for MaxBet was also the presentation of the trophy for the Event of the Year in Sport – European Short Course Swimming Championship for Seniors, which was won by the legendary athlete, Camelia Potec.
