MaxBet Romania wins the National Corporate Football Championship at its first participation

In a remarkable first, the MaxBet Romania team managed to win the 2024 National Corporate Football Championship trophy, FIFCO League, at its very first participation. This remarkable performance was possible thanks to the joint effort of players and supporters, who exhibited their dedication and passion for football.
2024 National Corporate Football Championship
The National Championship of Corporate Football is a football tournament on reduced surface, organized since 2011, which is aimed at amateur football players from large companies in Romania, giving them the chance to compete in an organized, very close to professional.
Starting with 2013, the National Corporate Football Championship is part of the international circuit of football tournaments, as a result of its affiliation to the international forum FIFCO – International Federation of Corporate Football, based in Montreal, Canada.
Victorious debut in the National Competition
MaxBet entered this competition, which attracts companies from all over the country, with various fields of activity, with no previous experience as a football team. Despite this, the 15 colleagues from different departments of the company decided to join together to form a united and competitive team. Team spirit and mutual support between members were key to their success.
The competition consisted of 9 matches held during April and May. In addition to the performances on the pitch, MaxBet stand out by the presence of its numerous supporters, who received praise from the organizers for their enthusiasm and fair play. Each match was a demonstration of dedication and skill, culminating in the team qualifying for the FIFCO League.
In the FIFCO League, MaxBet not only won the trophy, but also received important individual titles. The team was honored with the league’s top goal scorer and top goalkeeper awards, highlighting the talent and dedication of its members.
A key element of the team’s success has been the unconditional support of the fans. Whether the matches were played at late hours or in unfavorable weather conditions, MaxBet supporters were always there to cheer on their teammates. This solidarity created an unforgettable atmosphere and was a constant source of motivation for the team.
The triumphant final
The grand final took place on Sunday 26 May against MagnaPharm team. MaxBet dominated the match, achieving a clear victory with a score of 14 to 5. This victory consolidated MaxBet’s position as the leading team in the spring edition of the National Corporate Football Championship 2024.
