FEG Romania continues its retail operations with over 150 locations

In light of recent legislative changes affecting the entire gambling industry in Romania, Fortuna Entertainment Group continues its traditional gaming operations through the Casa Pariurilor and Fortuna brands and is accelerating the process of operational adaptation and compliance with the new requirements applicable to land-based activities, currently maintaining a network of over 150 locations nationwide. At the same time, FEG Romania renewed its traditional fixed-odds betting licenses for both brands, Casa Pariurilor and Fortuna, in April 2026.

The operational adjustment process involves both closing certain locations in areas affected by the new regulations and continuing operations at other agencies, depending on local approvals and decisions. Traditional gaming operations thus continue in a responsible and predictable manner, in full compliance with the applicable legal framework.

At the same time, the FEG Group continues to invest in the development of online products and services by launching new promotions, customer benefits, loyalty programs, and digital solutions designed to enhance the gaming experience and improve service accessibility for users.

FEG Romania continues to provide stable and secure services to customers, both at physical locations and online. The payment of winning tickets and access to customer funds are proceeding without interruption, in accordance with existing procedures and new solutions implemented to streamline services.

The group’s online platform is operating normally, and customer support and relations activities continue without interruption. Online customer support services are available 24/7 via chat and email, while telephone support is available 7 days a week, providing customers with quick solutions and constant support.

The FEG Group will continue to actively collaborate with authorities and business partners to ensure that its activities are conducted in a transparent, responsible, and sustainable manner. Recent legislative changes have created an immediate need for regulatory compliance and operational adaptation across the entire traditional gaming industry, from both an operational and administrative standpoint.

In this context, FEG Romania is among the first operators to begin implementing these changes on a national scale, in direct correlation with the responsiveness of local authorities and their decisions regarding the continuation of operations. These adjustments involve extensive and complex administrative procedures, logistical adjustments, ongoing communication with affected partners and employees, and constant coordination with the relevant authorities.

The adaptation process that Fortuna Entertainment Group is undergoing is not an exceptional situation, but rather a natural step in a constantly evolving legislative landscape that affects the entire industry. In this context, FEG Romania remains a responsible employer for hundreds of employees, a trusted partner for communities in promoting responsible gaming, and a conscientious taxpayer in its dealings with the authorities.

The group’s priority remains providing a safe, predictable, and responsible gaming experience, in full compliance with current regulations and the standards the company has committed to in its dealings with customers and authorities.

Periods of legislative change inevitably lead to operational adjustments across the entire industry. For FEG Romania, this phase means adaptation, responsibility, and the consolidation of a model built on compliance and stability.

At the same time, the group is making every effort to protect jobs and ensure as stable a transition as possible for employees in the traditional gaming network.

However, in areas where gambling is prohibited, or in locations where it can no longer operate under the new regulations, there will be a significant impact in terms of employee layoffs as well as a decline in associated revenue generated by local partners and suppliers.

Adapting to the new legislative requirements involves not only operational processes but also increased attention to field teams, which are essential for maintaining service standards and customer relationships.

Romania remains a strategic market for FEG, and the medium- and long-term objective is to consolidate a modern presence that is fully aligned with the current legislative framework.
