IGT has made its biggest commitment yet to the Romanian gaming market by more than doubling its local staff and promoting a Romanian-born executive to oversee its Eastern European accounts.

Despite the challenges that the global pandemic continues to pose, the Company also continues to ensure its customers in Romania are armed with the best possible tools for recovery by offering a strong pipeline of market-attuned content and an emphasis on heightening player engagement.
Given Romania’s importance to IGT, the local team has grown substantially. Based at IGT’s offices and showroom in Bucharest, it includes two new dedicated account managers, Delia Serban and Liviu Popescu. In addition, the Company has appointed two more service technicians, Eduard Bratescu and Alexandru Afzali, who are fully focused on servicing Romanian accounts.
Romanian Oana Sebe, who in January 2022 was appointed IGT Director of Sales for Eastern Europe Core Markets, leads the team. Her previous success as sales leader for the Romanian market will help inform the strategic direction for the entire region. While her responsibilities have expanded, she remains based in Bucharest and will ensure that the local team delivers its utmost service and support to clients.
