Bet on the final result at Mozartbet

By final result, in the context of this article, we mean the result of a football match. We do not refer to tennis, basketball, handball or any other sport, we focus exclusively on football.

In football, it is estimated that the double chance bet has the highest rate of winnings, but bets on the final result are much more important when it comes to the percentage of success and the profit we can have. The success rate measures the efficiency obtained after the turnover made at sports betting. Profit is measured as a percentage, to eliminate differences in the budget, style of play, preferences and behavior of punters.

We can say that sports betting is characterized by three defining elements: stake, risk (chance) and a prize. The stake belongs to the players, the prize belongs to the operators and both elements are affected by chance. This is also the main reason why sports betting is defined and accepted as gambling.

Mozartbet

At Mozzartbet we focus on the odds offered for the final result in football. The general opinion is that these odds are very advantageous for punters, their value being easily recognized. The end result (at the end of the game) is the most popular type of bet known and one of the simplest and easiest to use. We have variants, namely 1, X or 2. The victory of the hosts, the draw and the victory of the guests.

RF 1 – final result 1, this means the victory of the host team or that evolving on its own field;

RF X – draw, teams share points (one for each);

RF 2 – final result 2, equivalent to the victory of the visiting team

As punters, we are interested in having the highest possible odds. Thus, our chances of making a profit increase. When the value of an average odds is around @2.10, lower or much lower odds are unfavorable to us. Higher odds can be valuable when we are constantly betting.

It sounds a little confusing, but here’s a very simple and suggestive example below. We assume that we bet only on the final result, fixed bet and choosing odds between @2.00 and @2.20:

Bet 1 – odds @2.10 – RON 100 stake – lost

Bet 2 – odds @2.00 – bet RON 100 – lost

Bet 3 – odds @2.00 – bet RON 100 – winner

Bet 4 – odds @2.10 – bet RON 100 – winner

After 4 bets, we have 2 losses and 2 winners, the profit obtained being RON 10. A profit that may seem negligible but let’s think if at the last (winning) bet we would have had a odds of @1.90 and not @2.10 what the situation would have been. A total loss!

The math of the odds is simple, the more advantageous they are for punters, the easier it is for us to win. We can go further and turn our attention to margin and payout, just to convince ourselves of the benefits of quotas with data and figures. And for that we choose three matches to be played and a “live” match.

The term margin comes from English and is the translation for juice (or “vig”, in other cases). The margin represents the profit of the operators and usually prevents the punters from making a long-term profit. The percentage considered normal is at most 10%, but this figure may vary further. As an example, 10% may mean that a player must risk and gamble RON 110 to win RON 100.

Some operators have reduced the margin to 3-5% to become attractive in certain markets or for certain matches. A margin of less than 3% shows the continuous concern of the bookmaker to offer quality services through very attractive odds, as close as possible to the real ones.

Calculating the margin and payout for the final result in the case of a few football matches.

FCSB – Universitatea Craiova 1 @2.30, X @3.15, 2 @3.30

Bookmaker profit margin: (1/2.30 + 1/3.15 + 1/3.30 – 1) * 100 – 1 = (0.43 + 0.31 + 0.30 -1) * 100 – 1 = 3%

Payout: 97%

Chelsea London – Real Madrid 1 @2.15, X @3.35, 2 @3.80

Bookmaker profit margin: (1/2.15 + 1/3.35 + 1/3.8 – 1) * 100 – 1 = (0.46 + 0.29 + 0.26 – 1) * 100 = 1%

Payout: 99%!

RB Leipzig – Atalanta 1 @2.10, X @3.45, 2 @3.50

Bookmaker profit margin: (1/2.10 + 1/3.45 + 1/3.5 – 1) * 100 – 1 = (0.47 + 0.28 + 0.28 – 1) * 100 – 1 = 3%

Payout: 97%

We also notice some aspects regarding the quotas offered:

– they are stable, accessible and not misleading. Mozzartbet does not disappoint, but we can see cases of declining odds due to the volume of bets.

– correct and explicit presentation of bets. In the case of the final result, RF1 is the characteristic symbol of the operator. Here you can see the influence and interference of retail in the online segment.

– find the same odds online and offline (at street agencies). Being one of the oldest operators on the Romanian market, Mozzartbet has expanded to the online part, offering the same quality that I was used to in terrestrial locations.
