BIO
Alexandru Cristea is a Tax Partner of Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații Tax S.R.L., an affiliated company of the law firm Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații. Alexandru has a rich experience in tax consulting, having worked for Deloitte and PwC where he was one of the coordinators of the indirect tax department. He has extensive knowledge in tax planning and implementation of efficient tax structures at an international level, as well as assisting clients in tax litigation (VAT and excise).
He has been a local consultant in the PHARE programme for the implementation of harmonised VAT legislation in Romania, and has been involved both in the drafting of legislation and in the organisation of courses for experts from the Romanian Ministry of Finance. Alexandru is a certified tax consultant and holds an MBA in finance.
