Le Rosey
Considered to be one of the most expensive boarding schools in the world, the schooling fee can reach around 111.110 dollars a year. Among alumni, we mention: King Albert II of, Alexandra von Fürstenberg, Prince Rainier III of Monaco, King Farouk of Egypt, and many other personalities. The subjects are taught in two languages, and one of the school’s requests is that students learn a third language. Among other facilities for the students are: a 25 meter covered pool, a wellness center, a skate park, an open-air theatre, 10 tennis fields, a riding centre, a 38 meter long yacht, and 11 golf fields. The school is famous for its summer camps at Château du Rosey and winter camps in Gsdaat – both being the school premises. The children are encouraged to take part at the academic, sportive and artistic activities. To be the best at skiing is definitely a trademark of the institution.
Aiglon
Aiglon is an international school inspired from the British education standard. Within the campus, the activities focus around the environment, the school premises being located in the Swiss mountains in Chesières-Villars. The school promotes the trips in nature and winter sports, and these are some of the reasons why the school is so often selected, as well as the cultural programs through various trips in European cities, and the humanitarian work. The school stands out in that the students have an astronomical observatory to study planets and stars, and meditation moments before the courses. The schooling fee exceeds 105.210 dollars per year.
Beau Soleil Alpine College
This school is one of the oldest private schools in Switzerland. Students are expected to get involved in sports activities, such as: riding, mixed martial arts, swimming or tennis. They promote learning through experimentation, and therefore students are invited to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, to explore Morocco, New Zeeland, Tanzania, Cambodia or Ghana, or to walk all the way to India. Auf Dem Rosenberg Institute
The spectacular Auf Dem Rosenberg Institute, located in St. Gallen, is one of the oldest schools in Switzerland. Over 60% of the school students speak at least 3 foreign languages, the most popular being English, French, Italian and German, because the school prepares students for various international exams. One of the most expected moments of the school year is Rosenberg Ball, when students begin preparations two months before together with their teachers to impress their parents. College du Leman
This college opened its gates in 1960 after the increasing number of multinational corporations that moved their premises in Geneva. The children can register for the bilingual classed of the school since they are 2. During the school year, sport plays an important role, students being encouraged get involved in the institution teams, but also in the local teams in the region. The school curriculum also places the stress on the artistic side, the school having a partnership with the famous school „Juillard” in New York. Among the extracurricular activities, we can mention: riding, archery, yoga, magic and illusionism, sculpture. School fee is of about 92.255 dollars per year.
An important thing to mention is that all the expensive schools give children the possibility to choose what exam they want to take at the end of school, depending on the faculty they where they will study. Moreover, due to the great number of classes children can attend and thanks to the attention from the teachers, the ratio being, in most of the cases, of 1 teacher to 5-10 students, the skill development of the children shall considered as guaranteed. Atunci când vine vorba de educația copiilor, cei care își permit să cheltuiască sume măricele într-o singură noapte doar pentru a se distra nu fac rabat de la calitate și le oferă odraslelor posibilitatea de a învăța la cele mai bune școli private din lume. Jucătorii de succes ajung să plătească taxe anuale de la zeci până la sute de mii de euro și alte câteva sute de mii de euro pentru taxa de admitere, costuri considerate, de altfel, normale, pentru că ei doresc tot ceea ce este mai bun pentru proprii copii și, cum altfel, decât printr-o investiție serioasă în viitorul acestora. Considerată a fi una dintre cele mai scumpe școli cu internat din lume, taxa de școlarizare poate ajunge în jur de 111.110 dolari pe an. Aiglon
Aiglon este o școală internațională inspirată din modelul britanic de învățământ. În interiorul campusului, activitățile se concentrează în jurul mediului înconjurător, sediul școlii fiind amplasat între munții elvețieni în orașul Chesières-Villars. Școala promovează excursiile în natură și sporturile de iarnă, acestea fiind unele dintre motivele pentru care este adeseori selectată, dar și programele culturale prin diverse călătorii în orașe europene, ca și munca umanitară. Pitorescul Institut Auf Dem Rosenberg, amplasat în St. Gallen, este una dintre cele mai vechi școli din Elveția. Acest colegiu și-a deschis porțile în 1960 ca urmare a creșterii numărului de multinaționale care și-au mutat sediul în Geneva. Copii pot fi înscriși la cursurile bilingve ale școlii începând de la vârsta de 2 ani. Pe parcursul anului școlar sportul joacă un rol important, elevii fiind încurajați să se implice în echipele instituției, dar și în echipele locale din regiune. Programa școlară pune, de asemenea, accent pe latura artistică, școala având un parteneriat cu prestigioasa școală „Juillard” din New York. Printre activitățile extra-școlare pot fi amintite: echitație, tir cu arcul, yoga, magie și iluzionism, sculptură. Taxa de școlarizare este de aproximativ 92.255 de dolari pe an.
Un lucru important de menționat este că toate școlile scumpe oferă posibilitatea copiilor să aleagă ce examen doresc să susțină la finalizarea ei, în funcție de facultatea pe o vor urma în viitor. În plus, prin multitudinea de cursuri la care poate participa copilul și mulțumită atenției primite din partea profesorilor, proporția fiind, de cele mai multe ori, de 1 profesor la 5-10 elevi, dezvoltarea aptitudinilor copilului este considerată garantată.
