Poker tables can be bought for a few thousand euros, so a player wanting to impress his friends and offer some moments of envy for the competition can buy some real art statements as poker tables.

The table is made by a company that is completely devoted to creating poker tables, and also one of the biggest suppliers in this niche in the United States. The table is made of hardwood and has mahogany gloss finish, and includes chairs, but also storage areas for game accessories. A very important element of this model is the special place reserved for the dealer at the table, place that can be very easily converted in one for a player when the visitors’ number surpasses the host’s expectancies. Talking about poker, this scenario is not out of question.
With a more vanguardist design, a model in fact dedicated to those who admire modern design, it the poker table made by Mitchell’s Milano. A combination of maple wood and stainless steel, this poker table costs $12.500, has a chip set included, storage area for accessories, but apparently an important element is missing: the chairs. The Mitchell Custom Tables company is not one to take rules into account: founded in 1979, the company managed to establish its reputation as a quality supplier for poker tables very fast. Even if it mainly supplies pool tables, the company also made some poker tables which now count among the most expensive in the world.
All these models are surpassed by one which has established its reputation as „the most expensive in the world” among poker tables: Akke Functional Art Poker Table. The podium does ot belong to this model as a random fact, because, as its name suggests, it’s a very functional one. On the other side, the price matches its functionality and design. Presented for the large public in December 2012, this model quickly became a star among those who play poker regularly. Created by the designer Axel Yberg, who came with a very daring design, made by gold plated tubes and light bulbs from the Edison Reproduction collection, to which he added 15 species of exotic wood, among which we only name a Madagascar wood and Rose wood. It costs no less than $75.000, but the price reflects reality: this model took more than 600 hours to make and it came to be known as „All In”.
Even if you didn’y make it to buy the most expensive model, a poker table that you can have in the very confort of your home can not be worth just a few hundred dollars. So you can prepare yourself to make a valuable investition, eventually by saving those big wins. Having a poker table in your own home means that luck can be lured more easily, some would say, but as luck is not too important in poker, you can use it for some training sessions before enrolling in the big poker tours!

Chiar dacă nu reușești să îți cumperi cel mai scump model, o masă de poker pe care să o instalezi la tine acasă nu poate costa doar câteva sute de dolari. Așa că te poți pregăti pentru o investiție consistentă, eventual prin economisirea câtorva câștiguri mai mari. Având o masă de poker în propria casă, puteți ademeni mai ușor norocul, ar spune unii, dar cum norocul este mai puțin important în poker puteți să vă folosiți masa de poker pentru antrenament înainte să mergeți în turnee!
