Aquis Entertainment the owners of the Canberra Casino wants to spend more than $330 million in developing the casino into a gambling and entertainment venue. The company that bought Canberra Casino last year wants to build onto the Canberra Casino two hotels, restaurants, bars and high-end retail outlets.

Aquis executive director Justin Fung said the project would create 200 full-time jobs new jobs and 420 ongoing jobs.

Should the plans be approved the development would have 100 five star hotel rooms along with 12 luxury style villas.

Directorul executiv al Aquis, Justin Fung a declarant ca proiectul va creea 200 de joburi full-time si tot odata va implica nu mai putin de 420 de muncitori la constructia proiectului.

Planul de extindere prevede 100 de camere de hotel de 5 stele precum si 12 vile de lux. Daca proiectul va primi aprobarea pentru incepere, acesta va avea ca termen de finalizare anul 2018.
