Arbitrage Betting is arguably the simplest and safest way to make money out of bets. It can only be played online. However, betting houses have no tolerance for this method of profit and even take whatever steps necessary to track down and restrain those who choose to go there.

Strangely enough, anyone can play Arbitrage, even if they do not know sports or names of athletes or teams, after just a few minutes of training. This does not exclude attention, patience and a rather large budget to transform this occupation into a lucrative one…

What is the meaning of Arbitrage Betting?

Arbitrage is a method of placing two or several bets to cover almost all the results that may emerge on a betting market; once placed, these bets should garner sure profit for the gambler, irrespective of the outcome of that event.

However, how can one do this since every operator withholds a specific fee from the quotas and the chances of winning are less than they should be, mathematically speaking? And this is where the key element kicks in: speculation. There are many online betting houses, and Betting Exchange platforms, too. In most cases, the Arbitrage is played by placing a bet at a house and another bet by exchange, but there are some exceptions to this rule.

Moving from words to action…

Concretely, if you are looking for an opportunity to play Arbitrage at this point, I would recommend you access a quota comparing website and google ”sure bets odds” and access the first organic search result. You will come to realize very quickly what this is all about. Technically, there are countless websites dedicated to this technique and even a handful of sponsored services that may come in handy, from those alerting you when the agencies you selected present Arbitrage opportunities and all the way to an automated software which will thus place safe bets for you.

How does a safe bet look like?

For exemplification purposes, we shall use the Under/Over 2.5 goals betting line for which we will select the CS U Craiova – FCSB match. Although picked randomly, it just turned out that, by the time of the drafting of this material, an opportunity for Arbitrage presented itself, albeit insignificant, on this market. The best quotas we could come up with were the following:

• 16 for the Over bet 2.5 goals to Unibet
• 88 for the Over bet 2.5 goals to Betano

With a budget of 100 units, say, in RON, if we were to bet RON 46.65 on first bet and RON 53.55 on second bet, we would win RON 100.51, irrespective of the outcome of the match. While a 0.51% win is not appear attractive in the least, this is an actual and random instance capable of generating a safe gain.

Let us not forget that the match had not been listed on the exchange and that, for the purpose of this instance, I only took into account the agencies where I could play this legally in our country – or, if you want to do this full time, you may very well move to another country and have access to hundreds of online bets and stock exchanges.

If you are curious about my calculations and you wish to calculate your own Arbitrage stake for bets with 3 or more possible outcomes such as 1X2, google “dutching calculator” and you will immediately find everything you need to know about this technique.

Realistically, in a calendar day, a dedicated players of this technique should be able to find at least 3 opportunities likely to garner 1% to 3.5% profit. This may not sound much to begin with, but 3 bets a day for a total profit of, say, 5%, should bring about and end of month’s profit of 150%, which is kind of a big deal. Now, the question anyone reading these lines should ask themselves is…

Why doesn’t everyone play Arbitrage?

It is the natural question to be asking yourself. In the end, what is the point of risking and betting when you can just play Arbitrage? A straightforward and concise answer would be: Because the agencies made sure that you would find it extremely difficult to play it.

Certain agencies are forbidding the Arbitrage method altogether pursuant to their regulations, others don’t, but it is only certain that no agency (two or three exceptions globally) will have their users practicing the safe betting method. The reasons are many, but to understand the basics, we should refer to the way in which the betting houses earn their money.

Basically, the agency wishes to receive bets on all possible outcomes in a market, and the quotas will be adjusted so as to encourage more bets in a certain direction and to make sure the operator’s earnings are almost equal, irrespective of the outcome (it is this very principle of the houses that enables the appearance of quotas that facilitate the practice of the Arbitrage method). However, all these efforts are often crushed by certain groups of wise guys playing big money on several accounts, at some key points, for instance, 30 minutes before the start of a match, or a few minutes into the game, with live betting.

The number of those who tried to play or are still playing Arbitrage is rather high, even if the agencies put in place various filters to track down such players. Now think how things were when there was no protection whatsoever, no third parties to cross reference the data from several operators and so on …The houses have suffered, and suffer still, due to this method, which is applied aggressively by various groups affiliated to this phenomenon.

The fact remains that, sooner or later, you will be restrained by the betting houses, but this is where an individual’s talent and drive should step in and push them forward. No details required…

Advice

I have already made suggestions as to how you may find Arbitrage opportunities, so I will not resume this topic; but I will say this: you should focus on less popular competitions and markets on this planet to be more successful.

Set up a budget and calculate the stakes cleverly. Do not put all the money in one start, in two accounts; rather, keep funds available for deposits to a new agency whenever an opportunity presents itself. Basically, you could withhold as much as half your budget into the exchange accounts while trying to keep 20% of the bankroll clear (digital wallet, card), etc.

Bet only on round sums, at the houses, and exact sums, at the exchange. If you use decimal stakes to place bets at agencies, do not be surprised to be restrained after placing just 4-5 bets. Try to play round sums, such as 40, 50, 65, 100, and never gamble on amounts like RON 53.21 in a betting house. In return, at the exchange you have the freedom to make the kinds of bets you like since there are no limitations there except for those pertaining to the liquidity of the market at any given time.

Be aware that 10% of your budget is your entire capital when you apply this method for the first time because you will most likely make errors and encounter some unpleasant surprises. Learn your lesson for little money so that you may then avoid those mistakes that could cost you your fortune. One of the most commons situations is to ignore the rules required by various operators regarding the bets placed on the interrupted games of tennis. There are instances where a game abandoned cancels the bets in an agency and maintains them in others. This is why you should conduct tests with small amounts of money, at least once a month, to become familiar with the mechanism and to be able to encounter various difficulties.

It would be extremely useful for you to keep digital records of all the bets you placed, including the balance sheet you keep for each operator, to be able to postpone or prevent restraining. Some specialists even recommend playing multiple bet tickets at the agencies where you play and especially those where you have a profit, to mislead the automatic alert filters of the houses.

Even if you find this hard to believe now, you will most likely bet the wrong way at some point; either you calculated the stakes wrong, of you bet on similar, but distinct markets, or you accidentally clicked on a prognosis. Only experience, anticipation and a constant routine of verification of each step will help you overcome these problems without severe repercussions.

It follows from the foregoing reasons that “safe betting” is not as sure as they say… Because theory and practice rarely coincide. Now, having regard to all these factors, you can have a pretty good idea about the reality behind the Arbitrage Betting method. In theory, this approach is infallible, but the successful application of such strategy in the long run, in real life, is not so easy to achieve. Cu toate acestea, casele de pariuri nu agreează sub nici o formă această modalitate de a obține profit și chiar fac toate demersurile necesare pentru a-i depista și limita pe cei care se îndreaptă către această zonă.

Însă cel mai bizar lucru este că oricine poate face Arbitrage, chiar dacă nu se pricepe la sport și nu cunoaște numele niciunui sportiv sau a niciunei echipe, și asta după numai câteva minute de instructaj. Asta nu înseamnă că nu este nevoie de multă atenție, răbdare și de un buget cât de cât mărișor pentru a transforma această ocupație într-una cu adevărat rentabilă…

Sună bine, tentant? Să vedem despre ce e vorba!

Ce înseamnă Arbitrage Betting?

Arbitrage este o metodă care presupune plasarea a două sau mai multe pariuri care să acopere toate rezultatele posibile ale unei piețe de pariuri și care, odată plasate, să-i aducă individului un profit sigur, indiferent de deznodământul acelui eveniment.

Totuși, cum se poate face acest lucru din moment ce fiecare operator își oprește acel comision din cote și șansele de câștig sunt mai mici decât ar trebui să fie din punct de vedere matematic? Aici intervine elementul cheie, și anume specula. Există multe case de pariuri online, precum și platforme de Betting Exchange. În cele mai multe situații, Arbitrage se va face plasând un pariu la o casă și un altul prin exchange, însă există și excepții de la această regulă.

Să trecem însă la fapte…

În mod concret, dacă vrei să cauți o oportunitate de Arbitrage în acest moment, ți-aș recomanda să accesezi un site cu comparații de cote sau să cauți pe Google „sure bets odds” și să accesezi primul rezultat organic. Vei înțelege foarte repede despre ce este vorba. Practic, există numeroase site-uri dedicate acestei tehnici și chiar câteva servicii plătite care se pot dovedi a fi extrem de utile, de la cele care te vor alerta atunci când la agențiile selectate de tine există oportunități de a face Arbitrage și până la softuri automate care vor plasa astfel de pariuri sigure în locul tău.

Cum arată un pariu sigur?

De dragul exemplului, vom folosi linia de pariu Sub/Peste 2.5 goluri, iar ca meci vom selecta partida dintre CS U Craiova și FCSB. Deși am ales partida în mod complet aleatoriu, s-a nimerit ca în momentul redactării acestui material să existe o oportunitate de arbitrage pentru această piață, una infimă ce-i drept. Cotele cele mai bune pe care le-am găsit au fost următoarele:

• 16 pentru pariul Peste 2.5 goluri la Unibet
• 88 pentru pariul Sub 2.5 goluri la Betano

Având un buget de 100 de unități, să spunem lei, dacă am paria 46.65 de lei pe primul pariu, respectiv 53.55 pe cel de-al doilea pariu, vom obține 100.51 lei indiferent de rezultatul partidei. Da, ce-i drept, un câștig de 0.51% nu pare a fi deloc atractiv, însă este un exemplu real, găsit întâmplător, care îți poate genera un câștig sigur.

Să nu uităm că partida încă nu fusese listată pe exchange și că pentru acest exemplu m-am limitat doar la agențiile la care putem juca în mod legal la noi în țară – ori dacă ai vrea să faci asta full time, poți foarte bine să te muți în altă țară pentru a avea acces la sute de agenții de pariuri online și burse de exchange.

Dacă ești curios cum am ajuns la acele calcule și vrei să afli cum poți calcula miza de Arbitrage pentru pariuri cu 3 sau mai multe posibile rezultate, cum ar fi 1X2, caută pe Google „dutching calculator” și vei ajunge imediat la ceea ce-ți trebuie pentru a pune în aplicare această tehnică.

În mod realist, într-o zi calendaristică, un practicant devotat al acestei tehnici ar trebui să poată găsi măcar 3 oportunități care să-i aducă între 1% și 3.5% profit. Știu, nu sună grozav la prima vedere, însă 3 pariuri pe zi, să zicem cu un profit total de 5%, ți-ar putea aduce la sfârșit de lună un profit de 150%, ceea ce nu este deloc puțin lucru. Urmează întrebarea firească pe care și-o pune oricine citește aceste rânduri…

De ce nu face toată lumea Arbitrage?

Este firesc să te întrebi asta. Până la urmă, de ce să mai riști să pariezi când poți face Arbitrage? Un răspuns simplu și la obiect ar fi: Pentru că agențiile s-au ocupat ca ție să îți fie extrem de greu să faci acest lucru.

Anumite agenții interzic metoda Arbitrage prin regulament, iar altele nu, însă cert este că niciunei agenții (cu două sau trei excepții, la nivel global) nu-i convine să aibă utilizatori care practică metoda pariurilor sigure. Motivele sunt multiple, dar pentru a înțelege baza, trebuie să ne raportăm la felul în care casa de pariuri câștigă bani.

Practic, agenția dorește să primească pariuri pe toate rezultatele posibile ale unei piețe, iar cotele se ajustează tocmai pentru a încuraja mai multe pariuri într-o anumită direcție și pentru a-i asigura operatorului câștiguri aproape egale indiferent de rezultat (tocmai principiul acesta al caselor face posibilă apariția unor cote care facilitează practicarea metodei de Arbitrage). Ori toate aceste eforturi sunt deseori spulberate de anumite grupuri de băieți deștepți care joacă sume mari, de pe mai multe conturi, în anumite momente cheie, cum ar fi cu 30 de minute înainte de startul partidei sau după primele minute ale jocului, la live betting.

Numărul celor care au încercat sau care încă practică Arbitrage este destul de mare, chiar dacă agențiile au dezvoltat numeroase filtre pentru a-i depista pe practicanți. Gândește-te însă cum era situația atunci când nu exista nici un fel de protecție, nu existau terți care să compare datele mai multor operatori și așa mai departe… Casele au avut și încă au de suferit de pe urma acestei metode, care este aplicată în mod agresiv de diverse grupări dedicate acestui fenomen.

Realitatea este că, mai devreme sau mai târziu, vei fi limitat de către casele de pariuri, însă aici trebuie să intervină talentul și ambiția individului pentru a putea merge mai departe. Nu întrăm în detalii…

Deja ți-am sugerat cum poți găsi oportunități de Arbitrage, așa că nu voi mai relua acest subiect, însă voi mai spune doar că ar trebui să te orientezi către competiții și piețe mai puțin populare la nivel planetar pentru a avea mai mult succes.

Organizează-ți un buget și calculează în mod inteligent mizele. Nu depune toți banii din start, în două conturi, ci păstrează-ți fonduri pentru a putea depune la o nouă agenție oricând sesizezi o oportunitate. În linii mari, ai putea să-ți oprești aproape jumătate din buget în conturile de exchange, încercând totodată să-ți păstrezi 20% din bankroll pe liber (portofel electronic, card etc.).

Pariază numai sume rotunde la case, și sume exacte, doar la exchange. Dacă vei folosi mize cu zecimale pentru a paria la agenții, nu te mira dacă vei fi limitat după primele 4-5 pariuri jucate. Încearcă să joci sume rotunde, cum ar fi 40, 50, 65, 100 și nu paria niciodată sume de genul 53.21 lei la o casă de pariuri. În schimb, la exchange ai libertatea de a miza cum dorești, întrucât acolo nu există limitări în afară de cele legate de lichiditatea pieței respective la fiecare moment dat.

Consideră că 10% din bugetul tău reprezintă întreg capitalul de care dispui atunci când începi pentru prima dată să aplici această metodă, pentru că este foarte posibil să faci anumite greșeli și să ai parte de anumite surprize neplăcute. Învață greșind pe bani puțini, pentru ca mai apoi să poți evita greșelile care te-ar putea costa o avere. Una dintre cele mai comune situații ar fi ignorarea regulilor impuse de diverși operatori cu privire la pariurile pe meciurile de tenis întrerupte. Există situații în care la o agenție un abandon anulează pariurile, iar la alta se mențin. De aceea, este indicat să faci cel puțin o lună de probă cu mize mici, pentru a te obișnui cu mecanismul și pentru a te lovi de câteva situații dificile.

Ar fi extrem de util să-ți păstrezi o evidență digitală a tuturor pariurilor plasate, incluzând și bilanțul pe care îl ai la fiecare operator în parte, pentru a putea amâna sau preveni limitările. Anumiți specialiști recomandă chiar jucarea unor bilete cu pariuri multiple la agențiile la care joci și mai ales la cele la care ești pe profit, pentru a induce în eroare filtrele de alerte automate ale caselor.

Totodată, dacă vrei să faci Arbitrage cu sume mari, trebuie să te pregătești și pentru eventualele probleme tehnice și umane cu care te-ai putea confrunta. Spre exemplu, dacă îți pică internetul fix, asigură-te că poți configura hotspotul pe telefon în câteva secunde și evită, în general, să pariezI sub presiunea timpului.

O altă situație cu care te vei confrunta la un moment dat va fi aceea că un operator va intra brusc în mentenanță, după ce tu ai plasat deja primul pariu la cealaltă casă; neștiind ce să faci, trebuie să ai întotdeauna în vedere și varianta b, adică fie să poți face Cash Out la primul pariu, fie să mai ai fonduri disponibile pe care să le poți paria la altă agenție pe un pariu contrar celui inițial.

Chiar dacă pare greu de crezut în acest moment, mai mult ca sigur ți se va întâmpla la un moment dat să pariezi greșit, fie că ai calculat greșit mizele, că ai pariat pe piețe similare, dar diferite sau că ai dat click pe alt pronostic decât cel vizat. Numai experiența, anticiparea și rutina de verificare constantă a fiecărui pas te poate ajuta să treci peste astfel de probleme fără repercusiuni prea grave.

Din motivele enumerate mai sus reiese că „pariurile sigure” nu sunt chiar atât de sigure pe cât se zice… Asta se întâmplă datorită faptului că teoria nu coincide întotdeauna cu practica. Acum, ținând cont de toți acești factori, poți să-ți faci o idee mai bună despre realitatea din spatele metodei Arbitrage Betting. În teorie, este o abordare infailibilă, însă aplicarea strategiei cu succes, pe termen lung, în viața reală, nu este deloc o misiune ușoară. Închei prin a le ura succes tuturor celor suficient de îndrăzneți pentru a încerca această abordare!
