Marius Stoi, General Manager of DGL PRO, speaks highly of the new product that will be very useful on the gambling market next year. The new Cashbox is not only smaller, cheaper and very useful, but very safe, efficient and perfect for the demands of the Romanian market. .
The new Cashbox intends to eliminate all pay-desks and all money handling, so from now on, the Attendants will not longer actually touch the money. This Cashbox is in fact a modular system more fit for the gaming rooms with more than 15 devices. The most expensive model costs 10,000 Euros and now we try to produce a very simple model, with no bill reader, only with Attendant Access Card reader. For this model, the man on the machine makes the cash out, he is sent to Cashbox, the attendant introduces his Access Card, presses the button and the Cashbox pays off. In other words the Attendant no longer touches the money. This measure was taken because in many occasions the cashier left with the money. Also, this option is cheaper. Somewhere around 3000 Euros.
This Cashbox model is set to be launched in 2013. It all depends on how quick the box of the Cashbox will be ready; it is produced in Bulgaria in a smaller version, for a smaller Cashbox. Allwe need is a small monitor and the bill dispenser. The bill accepter and the ticket and receipt printers are removed. This is a very simple model of the device. The operators stay, and their role is to perform the cash out, only that they do not hold the money anymore.
The Advantage of Safety. Besides safety issue, the Cashbox is made of 3 mm steel, so it is very heavy. The best way is to imbed it in concrete, at the venue. The Cashbox contains four stackers each with the capacity of 600 bills. Bills of 10, 100, 200 and 500 lei.
The Cashbox Sizes. The sizes of the large Cashbox are 60 x 60 cm, so it does not require a lot of the space at the venue. Considering that it addresses gaming rooms with more than 15 devices, placing it will not be an issue. It is less recommended for smaller rooms, due to the lack of video surveillance, only having the panic button; it is possible for the Cashbox to disappear entirely.
The origin of the idea. Everything started with the large number of clients complaining about the Attendants. So this is a market demand. Sometimes the Attendants ran away with the money or took money from the acceptors to gamble themselves. Once a Cashbox is installed, everything becomes safer.
Other details. The Cashbox is not only directly connected to the devices, but it can be also connected to a laptop/computer in order to find out from which device the order was given. It can be connected directly to the internet network of the room. When little money is left and it approaches 0, the Cashbox can notify the owner in time, even by SMS, communicating the sum left. But the sum in the Cashbox can always be verified, non-stop in real time.
The CashCube from D-Systems
Here is some general information on the CashCube offered in Romania, by D-Systems.
The CashCube Administration (Admin) Utility is the one place on the CashCube that allows you to easily perform any operation on the machine as well as manage all system settings.
General info. The CashCube Admin Utility will always display certain information on the top and bottom panel, regardless of what section you may be browsing. The bar on the upper side of the screen has three sections: Section Name (indicates which section you are currently reviewing or operating in); User Name (indicates the name associated with the Access Card currently being used; System Date and Time (displays the current date and time on the system). The bottom panel is mostly used to display information and instructions for various actions you may be performing.
Main Menu. Inserting an Access Card into the appropriate slot, on the right side of the display, immediately brings up the Main Menu of the Admin Utility. This menu contains eight or nine buttons depending on what rights the current cardholder has. These buttons are: Information System, Handpays, TITO payouts, Money Breaker, Money to TITO, Refill/Empty CashCube, Reports, System Status and, if an Extended Rights Card is inserted a System Settings button is also available.
Information System. Pressing this button allows you to see news and information about payouts. As soon as you press it, you are prompted to select the language to display the information. Press any of the flags to select the respective language. By default, you have three options available: News, Machine Payouts and Jackpot payouts. Press News to see current information available on the main server of the venue. Pressing Machine Payouts brings up a numeric pad where you can enter the number associated with the machine or stand you are interested in reviewing. Each entry includes the date and time of the payout as well as the amount that was paid. Press Jackpot Payouts to see similar information about payments made from jackpots.
Handpays. This button is used to perform manual, Attendant assisted payments to customers. There are two options: Payouts and Manual Payouts.
The Financial Controller. In order to successfully perform a payout a second user must validate the payment with a separate Access Card. This is the Financial Controller. When a payment is ready to be processed, the initial Attendant Access Card must be removed from the Card Slot, at which point the Financial Controller must insert his own card, within a given time, according to the system settings.If this time expires, the machine will return to its default state and the payment will be cancelled.
TITO (ticket-in, ticket-out ) Payouts. If the machines in the venue are equipped with ticket printing systems, tickets may be used by customers to redeem cash at the CashCubes. This can be done without assistance, by simply inserting a ticket into the appropriate slot (lower-right side on the front of the CashCube, slot with animated LEDs). The attendant can also perform a ticket payment from within the Main Menu, by pressing the TITO Payouts button and inserting a valid ticket into the ticket slot. As soon as a valid ticket is inserted, a confirmation screen is displayed.
Empty CashCube. When you wish to take out the money currently stored in the CashCube, you must first register the operation in the Administration Utility. Do so by pressing the Empty CashCube button in the menu and confirming on the next screen. Once the process is complete, you will receive a confirmation, instructing you to remove all the cash from the dispensers.
Refill CashCube. To put the CashCube back in operation, it must be refilled with the necessary amount of money. Press the Refill CashCube button in the Main Menu of the Admin Utility to display a list of what coins and bills will be used as well as how many of each denomination.
Reports. The CashCube keeps precise records of payouts and other activities performed. Pressing the Reports button In the Main Menu will open a list of stored reports for different time periods.
System Status. Press this button in the Main Menu to display a list of all devices used by the CashCube and their current status, as well as the machine’s financial status. On the right side of the screen there is an Information Display Panel where data about the system and the various devices is displayed accordingly.
System Settings. The System Settings screen is the section in the Admin Utility that allows Administrators to manage all parameters of the CashCube.
The Operator performing the Refill must always check these values prior to completing the operation and ensure that the money stored in the cash dispensers matches the values precisely. A mismatch could lead to the CashCube functioning improperly and errors in accounting.

Astfel a fost conceput acest cashbox, care de fapt este un sistem modular şi se adresează în special sălilor cu peste 15 jocuri. Cea mai scumpă variantă costă 10 000 de euro şi acum vrem să facem o variantă foarte simplă, fără cititor de bancnote, doar cu cititor de card operator. În acest caz, omul de la aparat îşi face cashoutul, este trimis către cashbox, vine operatorul care introduce cardul lui de operator, apasă pe buton şi cashboxul îi dă banii. Cu alte cuvinte, casierul nu mai pune mâna pe bani. Măsura a fost luată deoarece de multe ori s-a întâmplat să plece casierul cu banii. De asemenea, această variantă va fi mult mai ieftină. Ajunge la un preț în jur de 3000 de euro.
Acest cashbox este estimat a fi lansat în 2013. Totul depinde de cât de repede va fi gata cutia pentru cashbox, produsă în Bulgaria într-o variantă mult mai mică, deoarece şi cashboxul va fi mai mic. Nu este nevoie decât de un monitor mic şi dispenserul de bancnote. Sunt eliminate acceptorul de bancnote, printerul de tichete şi printerul de chitanţe. Aceasta este o variantă foarte simplă. Operatorii rămân şi rolul lor este să facă cashoutul, doar că nu mai au banii asupra lor.
Avantajul siguranţei. Pe lângă aspectul siguranţei, cashboxul este făcut din oţel de 3 mm, deci este foarte greu. Cea mai bună variantă, atunci când este instalat în sală, este să fie înfipt în beton. În cashbox sunt patru stackere şi fiecare are capacitatea de 600 de bancnote. Vorbim despre bancnote de 10, 100, 200 şi 500 de lei.
Dimensiunile cashboxului. Dimensiunile cashboxului mare sunt 60 x 60 cm, deci nu ocupă mult spaţiu în sală. Având în vedere că se adresează sălilor cu peste 15 jocuri, nu va fi o problemă la amplasarea în sală. În sălile mici este mai puţin indicat, deoarece nu sunt supravegheate video ci poate doar prin butonul de panică şi este posibil să dispară cu totul.
De unde a pornit ideea. Totul a pornit de la clienţii care s-au plâns în număr foarte mare că au avut probleme cu operatorii. Deci vorbim despre o nevoie a pieţei. S-a întâmplat ca operatorii să fugă cu banii sau să scoată bani din acceptoare şi să joace ei efectiv. Odată cu instalarea unui cashbox, totul devine mult mai sigur.
Alte detalii. Cashboxul pe lângă faptul că este legat direct la aparate, poate fi conectat și la un laptop/calculator pentru a se şti de la ce aparat s-a dat comanda. Se poate lega şi direct la reţeaua de internet care există în sală. Când rămân puţini bani şi se apropie de 0, cashboxul poate anunţa proprietarul din timp prin SMS chiar, comunicând şi suma de care dispune. Dar suma de care dispune cashboxul poate fi verificată non-stop, în timp real.
Cashcube de la D-Systems
Vă prezentăm câteva date generale despre acest cashbox oferit în România de către D-Systems.
Unitatea de Administrare Cashcube (The Cashcube Administration (Admin) Utility) este singurul loc din Cashcube care vă permite să efectuați orice tip de operațiuni asupra aparatului, inclusiv să administrați orice setare a sistemului.
Informații Generale. Cashcube Admin Utility va afișa tot timpul anumite informații în partea de sus și cea de jos a panoului, indiferent de secțiunea pe care o răsfoiți în acel moment. Bara din partea de sus a ecranului are trei secțiuni: Secțiunea Nume (indică numele secțiunii în sau la care lucrați momentan); Nume Utilizator (indică numele asociat cu Cardul de Acces care este folosit în prezent; Sistem Dată și Timp (afișează data și timpul prezent al sistemului). Panoul de jos este folosit mai ales pentru afișarea informațiilor și instrucțiunilor pentru diverse acțiuni pe care le puteți efectua.
Meniu Principal. Introducerea unui Card de Acces în slotul corespunzător, aflat în partea din dreapta a afișajului, duce la apariția imediată a Meniului Principal din Utilitate Admin. Acest meniu conține opt sau nouă butoane în funcție de drepturile deținute de proprietarul cardului curent. Aceste butoane sunt: Sistem Informații, Plăți Manuale, Plăți TITO, Divizor Bani, Bani în TITO, Cashcube Realimentare/Golire, Rapoarte, Statut Sistem și, în cazul unui Card cu mai multe drepturi apare și un buton de Setări Sistem.
Sistem Informații. Apăsarea acestui buton vă permite să vedeți știri și informații despre plățile efectuate. Imediat după ce îl apăsați, sunteți rugat să selectați limba de afișare a informațiilor. Apăsați pe oricare dintre steaguri pentru a selecta limba respectivă. Aveți trei variante prestabilite: Știri, Plăți efectuate de Aparat și Plăți Jackpot. Apăsați Știri pentru a vedea informația despre locație existentă, disponibilă pe serverul principal. Dacă apăsați Plăți efectuate de Aparat va apare o tabletă numerică unde puteți introduce numărul asociat aparatului sau standului pe care doriți să îl verificați. Fiecare intrare include data și timpul efectuării plății precum și suma achitată. Apăsați Plăți Jackpot pentru a vedea aceleași informații despre plățile efectuate din jackpot-uri.
Plăți Manuale. Acest buton este folosit pentru efectuarea plăților manuale, asistate de Operator, către clienți. Există două opțiuni: Plăți și Plăți Manuale.
Controlor Financiar. Pentru a efectua cu succes o plată, un al doilea utilizator trebuie să valideze plata cu un alt Card de Acces. Acesta este Controlorul Financiar. Atunci când o plată este procesată, Cardul de Operator inițial trebuie scos din Slotul de Carduri, moment în care Controlorul Financiar trebuie să introducă cardul său, în timpul acordat conform setărilor sistemului. Dacă acest timp expiră, aparatul va reveni la starea prestabilită și plata va fi anulată.
Plăți TITO (bilet-înăuntru, bilet-afară ). Dacă aparatele din locație sunt dotate cu sisteme de printare de bilete, acestea pot fi folosite de clienți pentru a recupera numerar de la Cashcube. Acest lucru poate fi efectuat fără asistență, introducând un bilet în slotul potrivit (partea de jos din fața Cashcube, slot cu LED-uri animate). Și operatorul poate efectua plăți de bilete din Meniul Principal, apăsând butonul Plăți TITO și introducând un bilet valid în slotul de bilete. Imediat ce se va introduce un billet valid, se va afișa un ecran de confirmare.
Golire Cashcube. Atunci când doriți să scoateți banii depozitați în Cashcube, trebuie să înregistrați mai întâi operațiunea în Admin Utility (Utilitate Administrare). Efectuați acest lucru apăsând butonul Golire Cashcube din meniu și confirmând în ecranul următor. După ce procesul s-a încheiat, veți primi confirmarea, care vă va învăța cum să îndepărtați numerarul din dispensoare.
Realimentare Cashcube. Pentru a pune din nou în operare un Cashcube, acesta trebuie reumplut cu suma necesară de bani. Apăsați butonul Realimentare Cashcube din Meniul Principal al Admin Utility (Utilitate Administrare) pentru afișarea unei liste cu monedele și bancnotele care se vor folosi, cât și cu numărul acestora și suma denominată.
Rapoarte. Cashcube-ul păstrează rapoartele plăților și altor activități efectuate. Apăsând butonul Rapoarte din Meniul Principal veți deschide o listă de rapoarte stocate pe perioade diferite de timp.
Statut Sistem. Apăsați acest buton din Meniul principal pentru afișarea unei liste cu toate dispozitivele folosite de Cashcube și statutul acestora, precum și statutul financiar al aparatului. În partea dreaptă a ecranului există un Panou de Afișare Informații unde se vor afișa datele despre sistem și respectivele dispozitive.
Setări Sistem. Ecranul de Setări Sistem este o secțiune a Admin Utility (Utilitate Administrare) care le permite Administratorilor să gestioneze toți parametrii unui Cashcube.
Operatorul care efectuează Realimentarea, trebuie să verifice întotdeauna valorile, înainte de finalizarea operației și să se asigure că banii depozitați în dispensoare se potrivesc întocmai valorii exacte. O nepotrivire a sumelor poate provoca funcționarea necorespunzătoare Cashcube-ului și erori în contabilitate.
