He has 21 professional boxing matches, in which he obtained 17 wins including 10 knockouts, he was born in Galați and also won a world title at the World Boxing Championship obtained in Morocco in 2006. He is tenacious and has a great thirst for victory. The success achieved in the last years propelled him to the forefront of sports fans in Romania, which earned him fame and recognition. He recently became the face of DMS Champion’s Energy Drink.
How did your success story in boxing begin?
It all started about 14 years ago. Mr. Felix Păun, my tutor back then, and also my boxing coach, saw a potential talent in me. He insisted, supported me and encouraged me to follow this path.
What is the greatest achievement of your career so far?
I believe that the most important achievement of my career so far is the gold medal I have won at the World Championship of Boxing in Morocco in 2006.
What do you recommend to young people who want to take up boxing?
For the young people who want to take up this sport I recommend hard work, not to abandon when they are facing problems and fight for their dream. Only through hard work and sacrifices you get to do performance.
What is boxing to you?
At first for me boxing was a way to escape from the world in which I lived. I wanted something different than what life gave me at the time. Soon, I simply began to love this art and honestly, I do not see myself doing anything else at the moment. To me, boxing is not just a sport, it is a lifestyle which disciplined and matured me a lot.
How could boxing become a lifestyle for the younger generation?
Not just boxing, any sport practiced with passion and seriousness greatly influences the development of the younger generation. I speak from experience when I firmly state that sport develops a person both mentally and physically. The fact that every sport requires a healthy lifestyle, discipline, seriousness and maturity, can only be beneficial to the harmonious development of the younger generation.
Why did you decide to associate your image with DMS Champion’s Energy Drink?
The energy and desire to always be in the lead, true champions in what we do and represent, are the main reasons why I chose to become the image of DMS Champion’s Energy Drink. Moreover, within this company we found wonderful people who understood perfectly what sport and performance are.

Cum a început povestea ta de succes în box?
Totul a început în urmă cu aproximativ 14 ani. Domnul Felix Păun, pe atunci dirigintele meu, dar și antrenor de box, a văzut în mine un potențial talent. Dânsul a insistat, m-a susținut și m-a încurajat să urmez acest drum.
Care este cea mai mare reușită a carierei tale de până acum?
Cea mai importantă reușită a carierei mele o consider a fi obținerea medaliei de aur la Campionatul Mondial de Box din Maroc în 2006.
Ce le recomanzi tinerilor care vor să se apuce de box?
Tinerilor care vor să practice acest sport le recomand să muncească mult, să nu abandoneze atunci când dau de greu și să lupte pentru visul lor. Doar prin muncă și sacrificii ajungi să faci
performanță.
Ce reprezintă boxul pentru tine?
Inițial boxul a fost pentru mine o modalitate de a evada din lumea în care trăiam. Îmi doream
altceva decât ceea ce îmi oferea viața la momentul respectiv. În scurt timp, pur și simplu, m-am îndrăgostit de această artă și sincer, momentan nu mă văd făcând altceva. Boxul nu este doar un sport pentru mine, este un stil de viață care m-a disciplinat și maturizat foarte mult.
Cum poate deveni boxul un stil de viață pentru tânăra generație?
Nu doar boxul, orice sport practicat cu pasiune și seriozitate influențează foarte mult dezvoltarea
tinerei generații. Din proprie experiență afirm cu tărie că sportul dezvoltă atât mintal, cât și fizic. Faptul că orice sport impune un stil de viață sănătos, disciplină, seriozitate și maturitate, nu poate fi decât benefic în dezvoltarea armonioasă a tinerei generații.
